The Micropeel is chemical exfoliation to reduce the signs of photo aging including fine lines, wrinkles, dullness and visible skin imperfections in a series of 4-6 procedures. The Micropeels, formulated with 20% and 30% unbuffered and unneutralised glycolic acid at a low pH, accelerate cell renewal to reduce signs of photo damage.
Pigment Balancing Peel
The Pigment Balancing Peel is a medical-only treatment targeting uneven skin tone to dramatically improve the uneven appearance of photo damaged , mottled skin after a series of 4-6 treatments. The peel combines high-performance brightening and anti-inflammatory agents with a peeling acid solution to accelerate cell renewal and diminish uneven skin tone.
A course of 4-6 treatments is recommended initially.
Anti-wrinkle injections
At the Picton House Clinic Botulinum Toxin Type A is used in the form of Botox®. This temporarily blocks the impulse from the nerve to the muscle injected in order to prevent them from contracting. This prevents the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines caused by muscle movement. It is primarily injected into 3 areas – the frown, forhead and crow’s feet.
